John and Steve

I found a bunch of contact sheets from some company shoot. Here are a couple of prizes: John and Steve dressed up.

The new Xitron

Al, Tom's partner / salesman, showing off the construction sign in front of the building and land that Tom bought for the 1428 East Ellsworth building. Business must have been pretty damned good at this point. This was even before the heyday of the XM-16. We were in this building until 1994. When he sold Xitron, Tom kept the building and later C-Text was in it and now it's owned by some pig farming, bio-tech company.

Betty

Betty made cables and for the first 10 years of Xitron's existence cables were a big part of the magic. Betty was a wonderful person, I doubt anyone ever had a bad thing to say about her. A whole army of her daughters worked at Xitron at various times.

Company photo

Company photo from around 1985, pre-Svinicki, since the guy he took over for is in the front row at the right. I worked with about half these people: Terry and Betty, second and third from the left, front row; Jessie, Captain Tom, second and fourth back row; Carol, Bruce and Bonnie back row at the right.

The pop machine

Just like the old days. This machine has been around since very early on.
